The Student Speech Quote Hall of Fame is dedicated to the proposition that you are not as bad as you think you are. The biggest reason why people fail to do well in Public Speaking courses is that they are sabotaged by their own negative expectations. In order to join the august company of the Student Speech Quote Hall of Fame, a student must have actually uttered a sentence or phrase that the directors of the Hall deem worthy. The submission must come from a speech given in a classroom and be untintentional. For instance, Presidential candidate Robert Dole recently said:
