event information: Each year the National Italian American Foundation hosts a youth gala weekend, in Washington, D.C., where Italian clubs from all different colleges and universities come together to share their love for the Italian culture. It consists of conference meetings with inspirational and influential Italian American speakers. At the end of the weekend, all of the youth that attends the conference is treated to an old fashioned Italian gala. In past events we have met famous people such as Martin Scorcese, Ellen Pompeo, Anne Hathaway, Yogi Berra, Susan Lucci, Rudy Giuliani and the Prince of Italy.

-Volunteer Work (pictures)

event information: The members of C.I.A.O. are active volunteers in the local community. We are affiliated with the Italian Welfare League, which is an organization that helps underprivileged Italian families. Along with the IWL, C.I.A.O. members bring cheer and happiness into the lives of young children by distributing gifts at Christmas time and helping coordinate events that raise money for the welfare of the Italian youth.
