Rosanne Wasserman was born and raised in Kentucky. Her poems and articles have appeared in many journals and anthologies. In 1990-91, she received a Fellowship in Poetry from the New York Foundation for the Arts. Her previous collections include Apple Perfume, an Intuflo Chapbook; and Thex Lacemakers, also publiched by Gnosis Press. With her husband, Eugene Richie, she runs the Groundwater Press, a nonprofit poetry publisher, and raises a son, Joseph, who is five this year. When she teaches at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, they live in Port Washington; the rest of the year they live in Hudson, New York.
