The Almighty Alpha Chapter of Pace University – New York City Campus is also known as the Founding Chapter of Eta Omega Tau Sorority, Inc. for this is where the legacy of HWT began over a decade ago.
This is the original home of our Sorority – the foundation of where our HWT herstory lies.
Sixteen dedicated Pace University women came together in 1989 in an effort to create a sisterhood which would be open to all members – never forgetting to recognize anyone’s culture.
They created a sorority, which believes in celebrating the accomplishments of all women rather than focusing on one particular culture. This goal was achieved with the establishment of Eta Omega Tau – a declared multicultural social and service sorority.
