This article is being written for the Journal of International Consumer Marketing special issue on Asian Dimensions of Service Marketing.  Data has been collected from nearly 1000 Japanese respondents regarding evaluation of medical and restaurant encounters.  This data will be examined to explore the behavioral dimensions of service encounter evaluation in Japan.
