The Spring Banquet is an annual conference spear-headed by several Pace
University's student organizations.
The purpose of the Spring Banquet is to provide a forum in which professionals
from various business fields can share their experiences and knowledge with
members of Pace University. Every year, themes have always been based on events
happening in real world at the time. This allows us to gain insight into our careers
and learn how to progress once we have entered our chose profession. The Spring Banquet is an event that will aid you in your personal and
professional development to the highest degree.
Brief History
The original idea
came from business organizations when everyone was trying to get funding for
their own event. However, the funding
was limited; instead of planning their own event, several student organizations
came together to plan one major event and joined their budgets together. The first
planning meeting was held on January 16, 2001 in the Leadership Lounge
in the Student Life Center on the 9th floor of 41 Park Row.
The first Spring Banquet was held on April 19, 2001,
with the theme "Perspectives on Self-development and Growth within Business."
