Robert Caporale, Managing Director - Alternative Investments, JP Morgan Chase
Robert Caporale is a Managing Director within JPMorgan Investor Services and is responsible for Hedge Fund Services, Private Equity Fund Services and Measurisk, which provide fund administration, back office outsourcing and risk measurement solutions to alternative investment managers and institutional investors.
Mr. Caporale joined JPMorgan in 2002 as head of Strategic Business Development for Treasury and Securities Services. Mr. Caporale and his global team were responsible for managing acquisition, venture, divestiture and strategic alliance activities, completing 15 acquisitions totaling $2 billion in invested capital.
In 2005, Mr. Caporale founded and launched JPMorgan Private Equity Fund Services which has been rated the top private equity fund administration and outsourcing provider by Global Custodian Magazine’s annual survey every year since the survey was developed. Mr. Caporale added responsibility for Hedge Fund Services in 2007 and Measurisk in 2008.
Before joining JPMorgan, Mr. Caporale held various senior sales, business and product management positions at Bankers Trust Company, Fiserv Inc., and IBM Corporation. Mr. Caporale serves as a board member at Hudson Valley Fellowship and is a former board member of the Hillside Food Outreach both located in Westchester County, NY where he resides with his wife and three children.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and an MBA from New York University with distinction.
