We get a lot of cat sighting inquiries, so to address your requests we have created this page.

The BWG mission focuses on the long-term health and recovery of three endangered species, the Jaguar, Jaguarundi, and Ocelot in the border regions of the USA, including areas in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and adjacent Mexican states of Coahuila, Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon, Sonora, and Tamaulipas.  Visit our Maps Page for a more geographic perspective.

We are in the processing of creating an interactive sighting database, so you can submit your own sightings directly online.  In the meantime, we are using a third party application on MapMe.com to capture and map your sighting information.  Please signup and participant.

Here is a map of our current sightings

All other inquiries regarding the Bordercats Working Group should be directed to Dr. Melissa Grigione.
