Julia Hall

Julia Hall is a freshman at Pace University. She is majoring in Education with a concentration in Spanish and Women's Studies. Hall is a guitarist and singer/songwriter who enjoys all of the arts and attractions that New York City has to offer.
Her interest in Georges Sand was first awakened in 1999 when she saw a picture of the iconic author in drag; however, it was not until college that she began to explore the complex roles that Sand played as a mother and writer.
Through this project, Hall learned that it is possible for a successful female writer like Sand to balance motherhood and a professional career.
