My name is Cassie and I am 19 years old (the year is 2002). I live in New York City and attend Pace University. Currently, I am working on a Bachelors in Business: with a Marketing/Promotion major.
This webpage was made for my class: Meanings and Models of Motherhood in European History and Literature, taught my Professor Driver and Professor Reagin. The course was an extensive six credit class counting towards my Women's Studies minor and towards my core to graduate.
It sounds morbid to say, but I truly enjoyed learning more about the Holocaust. Throughout history, we learn about the experiences men suffer through, but rarely do we get to hear the voice of a woman -- I became that voice. I hope that through this webpage I opened some eyes to the horrific treatment women, mothers and children suffered during the Holocaust. I want to add that I feel terrible for what men had to go through as well, but being a woman I wanted to dedicate this page to women.
After undergraduate school I hope to attend law school and get a Masters in discrimination law (if such a law exists). Once I complete that, I would love to work on my Doctorate in Women's Studies and maybe travel to Africa to write a book.
There are so many things I want to be and do when I "grow up". The possibilities are endless! I would like to work at a major fashion company as head of marketing: for example, Betsey Johnson, Alexander McQueen, or Jean Paul Gaultier (my favorite designers). Law has always been an interest of mine, and I would love to either be: a lawyer (and work with women who are stuck in abusive relationships), an FBI Agent or maybe a Supreme Court Judge.
