Dr. Priluck
joined the faculty of Pace University in September of 2000. She teaches
a variety of courses in the marketing department including: Consumer Behavior,
Fundamentals of Advertising & Promotion, Graduate E-Marketing Seminar,
Principles of Marketing and Advertising & Communications Strategy.
She has
published papers in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Product &
Brand Management, International Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal
of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Marketing Theory: Applied Marketing Science,
Journal of Marketing Management and Psychology & Marketing among others.
Her research
generally falls into three areas:
1) Classical
Conditioning
examining
the classical conditioning process and its affect on consumer behavior,
branding
and advertising.
2) Relationship
Marketing
understanding
how consumers respond to retailers in the event of poor product quality.
3) Internet
Marketing
studying
the role of the Internet in various industries and the elements of Internet
advertising.
As a consultant
Dr. Priluck has worked with a number of Internet start ups, assisting them
in developing their strategies and business plans. She has done market
research work for R.R. Donnelley and spent a year and a half advising Selfhelp
Community Services regarding marketing strategy.
