CALL for PROPOSALS

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit proposals for
paper or poster presentation at the 16th Annual Pace
University Psychology Conference on
May 10, 2008 (Saturday),
One Pace Plaza, New York,
NY 10038. Submissions on topics related to psychological
research from non-Psychology majors and departments are also encouraged.
Registration is free!
All proposals must be received no later than April
14, 2008.
Submission requirements are as follows:
For Posters:
(1) Title, author(s), institutional affiliation(s), mailing address,
phone number, and e-mail address(es), and
(2) Abstract of completed research (no longer than 150 words)
[Note: The Florence L. Denmark Award for Outstanding Poster
is given to the top (2 or 3) outstanding posters at the Conference.
Three independent evaluators (one Pace University psychology faculty
member and two psychologists from other institutions) serve as judges to
evaluate all posters based on the following criteria: scientific quality,
originality, comprehensiveness, clarity, appearance, and overall
quality. Awardees are announced at the conference and official
certificates are mailed out a week after the conference.]
For Oral
Presentations
(20 minutes):
(1) Name of presenter, title, author(s), institutional affiliation(s),
mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address(es), and
(2) Brief description of study purpose, methods, and results (no longer
than 150 words).
[Note: For accepted oral and poster presentations, abstracts will appear
in the proceedings that will be made available on this website and in print
form to
be distributed on the day of the conference.]
