Malerie E. Luciano

Malerie E. Luciano is a dynamic, highly motivated individual that takes pride in her ability to balance two part time jobs and attend school full time. She is currently pursing a Marketing Degree (Concentration: Advertising and Promotion) and will be graduating with Latin Honors in May 2008. During her collegiate career, Malerie has worked on more than 20 different group projects, developing a social skills set that has undoubtedly contributed to her involvement in the advertising industry. Currently, she is working for The New York Times as a Buzz Marketing Intern, where she monitors and evaluates various factors affecting video and social networking performance. As a result of her academic success and determined nature, Dr. Larry Chiagouris nominated Malerie as the sole candidate for the "2008 Most Promising Minority Student" award and was selected as a finalist. She has since taken on the role of one of three directors, working hand-in-hand with the presentation and creative team in attempts to solidify the presentation framework and communicate the key concepts of the AIM campaign. Malerie intends to pursue her passion for advertising and has learned that she must brand herself using the following tagline created for her by Dr. Chiagouris: "Intelligence. Drive. Character. A compelling combination and voice for the advertising industry."
