Our Mission

Performing

Our members are an interesting mix of singers, musicians, dancers, poets and actors who together form not just a group but a family. With a versatile repertoire and a genuine love for God, Grenada and the Caribbean in general, Quake USA Cultural Organization turns out whether in small numbers or full fledged quota to add that necessary bit of spice to the event.

Giving

Additionally, Quake USA Cultural Organization is not only about performing, but also about giving back to community. Over the last few years, the group has donated cash and kind items including medical supplies, books for local libraries, and other as needed contributions to various local organizations in Grenada, Dominica and locally in the NYC area. The organization also hosts at least one annual fundraiser in the form of a Tea Party and Fashion show, and are trying to return to more frequent Full length Production Performances.

Connecting

The group also connects with other Community, Caribbean and Grenadian groups for a variety of activities ranging from yearly picnics, to cosponsored barbecues, to simply supporting their functions. Quake USA Cultural Organization believes in giving back to the community, and always keeps that at the forefront of their goals. Long term plans include regular CD production, owning our practice home, and becoming more fully integrated into Caribbean community affairs with a unique mix of traditional and contemporary music, song, dance, drama and poetry. In the meantime we are forever indebted to St Gregory the Great RC Church in Brooklyn and Father Rogers for currently housing the group for our many practices.
